The Museo degli Innocenti remains open on the first Sunday of the month, but does not join either the "Metropolitan Sunday" initiative promoted by the Florentine Civic Museums or the Ministry of Culture's "Sunday at the Museum."
Therefore, on the first Sunday of the month , admission is charged according to regular rates.

Of bachelor's, master's, five-year (or single-cycle) degree programs, postgraduate specialization or to doctoral programs of the following faculties: Engineering, Architecture, Humanities with a historical-artistic focus, Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage;
Of the Academy of Fine Arts, the Central Institute for Restoration (ICR) and the Opificio delle Pietre Dure (OPD)
The same facilities are allowed to students of corresponding faculties or courses established in the states of the European Union. Free admission is allowed to faculty members by issuance of appropriate document; to students upon presentation of the certificate of enrollment for the current academic year
School teaching staff
As provided for in Legislative Decree 507/97; tenured or under fixed-term contract, by showing appropriate attestation issued by the educational institutions on the model prepared by MIM.
Disabled visitors with certified disability and accompanying person
Free admission is also reserved for any accompanying person (1 per visitor).

Aimed at all customers who are in possession of a Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, Frecciabianca ticket with destination Florence and with a date up to no. 2 (two) days before the entrance to the exhibition, the ticket can be purchased exclusively at the exhibition ticket office. Holders of Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, Frecciabianca train tickets who purchase the ticket at the ticket office with the aforementioned discount will have to show their ticket at the time of entry to the exhibition and, in the case of failure to show, will have to pay the full price of the ticket. Discounts cannot be combined.
