Emerging Voices
As part of the Museo degli Innocenti exhibition program, “Voci Emergenti” serves as the participatory core of a project dedicated to art students studying in Florence.
The exhibition is designed as an educational and immersive experience, in which young people are invited to take an active part in the entire creative process: from designing the artworks to planning the exhibition layout, right through to determining how the project will be communicated. In collaboration with local schools, a select group of students will contribute to the development of the project, bringing diverse skills and perspectives to the table.
The project offers students the opportunity to engage with a real exhibition space, gaining practical skills and critical awareness. From curation to installation, and on to cultural mediation, each phase becomes an integral part of a hands-on learning process.
By allowing participants the freedom to choose their medium—whether photography, contemporary visual arts, or sound— Voci Emergenti fosters their creative autonomy, inviting them to interpret the festival’s theme through their own personal artistic languages.
This chapter reinforces the project’s mission as a hub for innovation, inclusion, and growth, where art serves as a shared space for collective exploration and creation.
