BONELLI STORY.
BONELLI STORY is an exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Bonelli Publishing House, one of the world's greatest comic book producers, through characters, authors, prints and drawings on display at the Museo degli Innocenti in Florence, June 1 through September 18, 2022 (extended through October 3!), excluding Tuesdays.
It is a not-to-be-missed event for all comic book lovers and nostalgic people who have dreamed for years thanks to the Hollywood western. The exhibition was made possible thanks to drawings, albums, objects and publications, both Italian and foreign, recovered through intensive research among historians and collectors.
More than 1,000 square meters accommodate an exhibition area filled with the best-known characters and best-loved sagas that span the many genres that Bonelli publications have spanned over the years: the west, adventure, science fiction, horror and mystery, detective stories, and fantasy.
An amazing history of people and characters, comics and cartoonists, which the public will be able to admire in more than 100 exhibits in display cases and 250 original plates: works by more than 200 cartoonists and masters such as Dino Battaglia, Jacovitti, Galep and Hugo Pratt.
